Who am I?

Out of 16 years working for the British Council in Croatia, I managed the Examinations Services department for 13, delivering the world's top English language examinations - Cambridge English and IELTS tests. In 2017 I decided to make a change and move to Hamburg to join my German partner. Being an English teacher by training, I decided that after so many years it was time to do just that: teach! In my career I have taught in different ways – I taught English privately in one-on-one sessions, but I also taught my staff about their job and about IT, and I trained countless exam supervisors and invigilators for their demanding jobs. I have a degree in English and Czech language and literature, which is the official teaching qualification in Croatia. The degree also covers translation theory and practice, which is also something I love doing. In March 2018 I was awarded my CELTA certificate.
